Intended learning outcomes

• That the student understands the basic concepts and physical theories of water desalination methods.

• To get acquainted with the different configurations of desalination plants.

• That the student acquires the ability to think objectively, accuracy in expression and the ability to organize.

• The learner will be able to classify and choose the most appropriate desalination technology.

• The ability to calculate the efficiency of the desalination plant, its productivity, its performance rate, and the costs per cubic meter produced.

• That the student devise the appropriate model in the analysis and calculation.

• The student should link the issue and apply what he learned in analysis, calculation, deduction, and anticipating the appropriate solution.

• That the student be able to determine the most appropriate desalination technology according to the data of salinity, capacity and costs.
